New Friends
We have made some great new friends who have been with us since Kalbarri.
We have to say goodbye today because we are going different ways. They have just started their big trip around Australia.
We will all be sad to say goodbye (especially Zenon) but hopefully we will see each other again when they get to our town!
Snorkelling at Coral Bay
When I went snorkelling off the boat, it was so scary !!!!! the fish were gi-normous!!!!! well some were little but they were very colourful. I also saw 6 or 7 turtles.
I also went snorkelling off the beach which was fun.

Red Bluff
There is a lot that we did but the first thing would be driving on a very bumpy road to get the Red Bluff. It was 1 1/2 hours drive from the Blowholes.
We saw lots of whales playing. We saw dolphins and Daddy saw a manta ray jumping out of the water near him while he was surfing.
We stayed in a tent.
Carnarvon Blowholes
Next on our trip was Carnarvon. Outside Carnarvon we went to the Blowholes.
You can see them back where we live but his they are very tall here.
Sunset Catamaran
The sunset catamaran - it was a boat with a net on the sides. Me, zenon and his friend, Senna were all on the net.
When we were walking to the catamaran and we saw a turtle on the beach who couldn't float. Then we were out on the catamaran we also saw a turtle swimming.

Dolphin Love
I don't have a photo of this but it is very interesting.
We were on a kayak and then there was a dolphin. I think it's name was 'Shock'. It was a girl. I know this from my dolphin chart.
She bumped into my kayak and then she swam under it. When she bumped into us we freaked out. It was very very very weird but very beautiful a the same time. I loved being so close to a dolphin in the wild.
At Shark Bay there are 1500 dolphins with names that are being studied by National Parks.

Guest Post - Zenon
These are my finds at Kalbarri.
I found a lobster and he was quite big but we couldn't take him home because he was too stinky.
I found a cuttlefish. Cuttlefish do hurt you sometimes so I had to be careful.
An aboriginal lady let me hold an egg and it was very big because it was an emu egg. The egg felt like sandpaper.
I went to a World Heritage Area called Shark Bay. We stayed at Monkey Mia.
When I was at the dolphin talk, I gave the dolphin some fish. The dolphin's name was Piccolo. I loved her. She was very cute. She turned on her side to look at us. She was a bottlenose dolphin and they cannot see straight ahead.
We have seen lots and lots of emus. They were walking around the park. I spied on the emus with my friend, Senna, and our sisters and brothers. The emus were in a pack of 5.

Monkey Mia Rocks
I have never been soooooooooo close to dolphins.
There are some families that live close to shore. They come in to eat and sleep. Piper is a little boy baby. Nicky is an adult. She got her name because a boat propeller nicked her dorsal fin. She will have another baby in October. She has already had 8 babies but only one has lived because the others have been eaten by sharks or not survived. There are many sharks here that prey on the dolphins - that is how Shark Bay got it's name.
We are not allowed to touch the dolphins but I hope we will get to feed them. We stood in the water and they got very very close to us. They turned sideways to see us.

World Heritage Park
We arrived in a World Heritage Park. It is Shark Bay.
Firstly, we went to Shell Beach. It had shells all over it.
I went for a swim. It was warm.

Kalbarri
We stayed 3 nights at kalbarri.
We saw 4 pelicans on the beach.
The pelicans were meant to be fed but the ranger did not turn up.
The parrot farm had lots of beautiful colours. There was lots of interesting stuff like the pool of dreams, the frog pool the whale tower.
